Schloss Vollrads, with its more than 800-year-old wine-growing tradition, is one of the oldest wineries in the world and is located in the idyllic landscape of the Rheingau not far from Wiesbaden. Schloss Vollrads is known for its diverse Riesling creations, which bring visitors from all over the world to this special place. Since 2011, Schloss Vollrads has been ranked among the 100 best wineries in the world.

Exiting places have a lot to tell

Since recently, guests have been guided around the estate in an informative and pioneering manner. Schloss Vollrads reports from its long history on the new signs. On bilingual steles and wall signs, historical photos show the work and life of the inhabitants and thus offer a view behind thick castle walls. With an eye for detail, the illuminated star signposts with shaking board elements offer amusing quotations on the subject of wine, and with a glass of Riesling in their hands, visitors can find lots of new information about this hospitable place, which Goethe himself loved to visit. In addition to the permanent signage, the display cases and changing modules integrated into the steles offer many opportunities to point out events, special offers or the menu plan of the estate restaurant.
